Item #1066A Safety Flares

OK... so you watched all of the trucking shows growing up like "Movin on" and "BJ and the Bear" You went out and bought Jerry Reed Cassettes and 8 tracks by the dozens, and you drove your mom nuts singing C. W. McCall songs in the house during breakfast. So even if you never became a trucker Item # 1066A should be near and dear to your heart.

You can't get much closer to trucking then these authentic road flares. They are ICC approved, fold up in a solid metal box, come complete with red flags and spring loaded flag holders.

If you are a true trucker than you have to set them up correctly, and the instructions for that are on the inside lid of the box they are stored in. You can practice in you driveway before you hit the road so you do not embarrass your self at the local truck stop.

The cool thing about these are they are dated 1966 and were made in Wichita Kansas by the Miro-Flex Company. If you are a good record keeper which is the secret to making a living as a trucker,  then you will want to know the safety flares themselves are model 18, and the complete kit is model 18BF. This information should go into your log book and be accessible at all times.

These are waaay more authentic than the cheap plastic ones you buy nowadays, so you need to do things right! You are not driving a truck in China so why in the heck would you buy a safety flare kit from China? Caution: There is ONLY on set of these so ORDER NOW! Show the world you are a true trucker, and even if you don't have a truck of your own, put them on your desk and everyone will think you are a trucker. And like most things...it is all about preception!

Oh...and the price is $40.00 for the set FOB Clay Center Kansas. Being a trucker you already know that FOB means freight on board which means when you are hauling for somebody else, they pay you. But for this item it is FOB Clay Center so you pay me to get these delivered to your driveway, your first lesson.

Here is your proof, these really were made in Wichita Kansas

Here is your flag that needs to be displayed along with your flare. These are brand new so the first guy obviously never broke down, or never bothered to set up his road flares. Maybe that's why he ain't truckin no more!

There are the fancy pants spring loaded flag holders for your road flare kit. They come complete with a holder of their own and are also ICC approved.

The instructions for when you forgot what you practiced in your driveway...

Here is everything ready to travel down the road safely. If you buy this you will be ICC compliant wherever you go.

Item # 52235C

Up for sale is a new in the original box Rochester Carburetor that fits 1950 thru 1952 Chevrolet Power Glide cars with the 235 engine. Why would you mess around trying to get a sixty plus year old carburetor to work when you know the throttle shaft is sucking air and your car is never going to idle properly. Then there is the issue of the leaking float and the gaskets that are all dried out and leaking.

So just turn back the clock, and buy yourself a brand new carburetor that doesn't leak, doesn't suck air thru the throttle shaft and get on down the road! You are not getting any younger and neither is your old Chevrolet!

The price of this factory new in the box carburetor, complete with instructions is selling for the honest sum of $319.38. That is the exact same price as it cost at the parts counter in 1950 adjusted for inflation. So even if you are slow at math that is a good deal. You are buying it for exactly what it cost in 1950. What are you waiting for? More pictures...ok here they are...

That should answer all of your questions. And there is only ONE of these, so if you snooze you loose, simple as that!
